Correction by Mom

Well, it fought like it was ninety pounds, and it LOOKS like it's 90 pounds, but my dad said that it is more like 40 or 50 pounds.  That's still pretty huge!!!  I'm getting pictures tomorrow, and we're going to try to measure it.

  8. Have your Dad figure out some way to get it weighed for you.  I am looking forward to seeing the pics but I'm also curious.  It sounds like a whopper of a turtle.  

    Not that I believe in them but there's an old wives tale that says if a snapping turtle bites you he won't let go until it lightenings.  Old beliefs are just interesting to me.
