I've heard that you can get domesticated silver fox from russia. It's true that they have domesticated them to pretty much dogs. But I can't figure out how to get one. I could use some help finding out. Thanks.

sounds like an interesting thing to find out about; I tried googling it but couldn't come up with any sites that said how to get one; hopefully your mom will be able to point you in the right direction; let us know what you find out :)

Just be happy to visit them at zoos or enjoy their photos-they are wild animals and eventually turn back to the wild no matter how young you get one and how much you love them and they love you.I speak of first hand experience as we went through this with our beloved wolves. :-(
ReplyDeleteNo!!! You don't need one!!! Please, don't ANYONE give her any ideas of how to get one. (A little voice at my shoulder is saying, "Mommy!! I need this information for when I grow up!" -- Yeah, okay, right.)

It's a good research project for you. :) lol Tell your mom you want extra credit for the hours you will spend online researching it! :) lol

Somehow I have the feeling when you get ALL grown up, you'll be a veterinarian. You would be great at that. Anne
ReplyDeleteJust my humble opinion, but I don't think a fox WANTS to be domesticated. Heck, sometimes I don't even want to be! ~Mary
ReplyDeleteI'm not 100% sure, but I don't think you'd be able to import a fox. Domesticated or not.
ReplyDeleteKeep us up to date on what you find out.
