Hi again. It's been a while since I last posted. My mom posted pictures of Copper on her blog. He's been doing great lately. He's much more comfortable with us now.
Yesterday my dad's friend called our house. His dad had been watching and trying to catch this white baby rabbit in his yard for a while, but yesterday his dog caught the rabbit and it got a scrape on its leg. He said it's a rare type of rabbit. It is white with blue eyes but his pupils are red. It's a type of rabbit that is not introduced to domestic rabbits yet. So since it was hurt, we ended up running out to get the rabbit, and now I have a pet rabbit. I haven't had time to get a picture of him yet, but I'll try to get one as soon as possible. We don't even know if it's a boy or girl yet, but I'm pretty sure it's a girl.
I let Clark go a few months ago, and she comes back every night to eat. But last night it rained and she stayed in her hutch all night. Well I had heard that once a possum gets pregnant, they have babies in thirteen days from then. So I wanted to check her pouch. Once I looked in it, I saw at least 1 hairless baby possum!!! So now Clark's a mom!! They should have their fur in a week or two. Once they're big enough to come out of the pouch, I'll get some pictures.
I updated my about me and my playlist.

Nice to see you here, Eler Beth! Sounds like you're having a busy, critter-filled summer! :) I loved the pictures of Copper--he's very cute. Is your new rabbit an albino? I'm not sure about the blue eyes, though.
ReplyDeleteTake care!
Beth
You are such a good Mama to all your critters. I'm sure you will take good care of the new rabbit too. Be looking forward to seeing it.
